In the fall of 2012 we broke ground to make way for a 80′ x 185′ x 28′-6″‘ Behlen Rigid Frame building complete with an 89′ x 75′ x 24′ office space that Wrangler Rentals would eventually call home. Based out of Leduc. Alberta, Wrangler Rentals provides highly skilled workers and heavy-duty equipment rentals for companies of any size and practically any heavy industry.
The finished building houses 14,800 sq. ft. of shop space, 4,410 sq. ft. of main floor space, 4,485 sq. ft. on the second story and a 1,150 sq. ft. mezzanine – totaling nearly 25, 000 square feet overall. Wrangler Rentals is equipped with 21 offices, a designated reception space, a boardroom, lunchroom, server and copier room, change room, parts room, covered outdoor balcony as well as washrooms in both the office and shop areas. The shop features four 80’ bays, one wash bay, 12 overhead doors and is set up for the future installation of cranes.

We completed this 80′ x 30′ x 22’6″ showroom addition for our local Ford dealership in July of 2013. We utilized a pre-engineered rigid frame-building from Behlen for the shell complete with a standing seam roof system. In addition to the extensive square footage of additional sales and showroom space, it features six 5′ x 5′ aluminum framed window units, one 9′ x 8′ aluminum glazed vehicle door. The front facade (& wrapped 3′ around the sides) utilizes Alpolic panels – an innovative metal composite material with a polyurethane core and metallic surface. Acrylic style metal stucco panels clad the remaining sidewalls on the addition.
For the past four years we have worked closely with the members of the Vegreville Lion’s Club to make their long sought after dream a reality. The members of the Club have worked endlessly to raise the funds necessary to make this facility available to the children of our community. It boasts state of the art equipment, a water recycling system and since completing Phase II also has a playground, gazebo, picnic tables, washroom facility and additional benches.
Since the grand opening on July 18, 2010 (just over a year after breaking ground) the park has proven to be a great attraction for families to spend time at all year round. Lion’s Club member John Sawiak was beaming while telling us that he seen kids with toboggans at the park in the winter months of the last few years.
Vantage Builders is proud to have donated $17,000 in Phase I towards making this project a huge success, and a picnic table and bench in Phase II, and will continue to take pride in helping to make such a great outdoor resource for all of the children in our community and all future generations to come.
On May 30, 2013 our staff gathered with Lion’s Club members John and Frances Sawiak (Splash Park Committee Chairperson) for a photo at the finished product.
